If, you love primitive trees like I do, you can make them very easy. Just buy a 2 foot or larger tree. Trim each stem, because most of the trees are just too bushy for me. When you trim they almost look close to a feather tree design. Then buy a bag of small pine cones and hot glue to some of the branches. Add your lights. Fun and easy to do.

Primitive Peg board Tutorial
1x4 or 1x3 board measure your room and figure how many boards you will need. They come different lengths I think the longest is 8 foot. They are not very expensive. You can have the home improvement store cut your boards. Were we live they do it for free. You have to also figure about how many wood pegs that you will need for your room, we spaced them 16 inches apart by the middle of each peg. Just make sure you don't put a peg in the very corner. Check to see what size you need for wood bit from smallest end of your peg. You can try a scrap piece of wood to figure how deep you need to drill your hole for your wood peg's. Mark the depth on your drill bit with electrical tape. Then, you will make sure that you don't drill too far when you drill your hole for peg. Next, paint the board the color you would like if you want it aged, paint, sand and then go over it with a dark walnut stain. When you get ready to hang your boards, make sure you use a level. Our peg rack is 87 inches from the floor, you may want your's higher. We used finishing nails to hang our peg rack. Just touch up your nails after you are finished with a little paint.
Hang your dolls, baskets, etc.
Enjoy! judy
